HORNSBY NORTH IDOL or ANNUAL TALENT QUEST
CAROLS IN THE PARK
PRIMARY SCHOOLS SWIMMING CARNIVAL

Hornsby Amateur Swimming Club, Primary Schools Carnival was held on Sunday 7th December.  A small group of students from Hornsby North Public School competed well to record some encouraging results.  The team included Emma, Maya, Veronica, Monica, Charlotte, Lorrain, Riley, Kai and Jo.

Riley, Emma, Maya and Kai all gained top three positions in their races. Monica, Charlotte and Jo swam well enough to receive ribbons.  Monica swam brilliantly to receive ribbons for freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. Charlotte swam fantastically to receive a ribbon for breaststroke. Jo then went on to take a ribbon for freestyle.

All students had a great time with the relay bringing the parents to their feet with lots of loud cheering. Congratulations to Veronica for receiving a competitive swimmer achievement award.  With so much fun and great results they can’t wait till the school swimming carnival next year!

Here is a photo we took last Friday during the presenting of flowers to all the teachers.  What a wonderful honouring time that was!  Words really can't express what an amazing group of talented, caring, wonderful teachers you all are.  You really are all incredible and I wish we could send you all on a cruise for 6-8 weeks to show our appreciation.  Maybe one day ...
