- HORNSBY ADVOCATE
Budding scientists
from Hornsby North Public School showcased their work at a science
expo last week.
The annual event,
for kindergarten to year 6 students has grown so large that the
school has to hold four separate expos to cater for all the
participants.
Last week years 5
and 6 students had their works on display.
Principal Maree
Sumpton said the school placed a focus on science lessons and also
ran specialised events for senior students, including a term on Lego
robotics.
"The science
program at Hornsby North is an outstanding program preparing the
children for life-long learning," she said.
"At the science
expo the demonstrations and explanations by students clearly
indicate that they understand the scientific processes at an
advanced level. |
